Shipping Policy

Every artifact that departs from the Witch of Whispers, whether incense, spell bottles, curiosities, or ritual tools, is packaged with intention and care. This policy outlines how shipments are handled, how long they take, and what to expect once your items begin their journey.

1. Processing Time

Each item in the apothecary is handcrafted, blessed, or assembled to order.

  • Processing time is typically 3–7 business days
    (unless otherwise stated on the product page).

Larger, specialty, or custom items may require additional preparation time. Any expected delays will be noted in advance.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

Orders are shipped using the available carriers within Wix’s integrated system, most commonly:

  • USPS

  • UPS

  • DHL (for international shipments, if offered later)

Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen service.

3. Domestic Shipping (United States)

Domestic delivery estimates vary by carrier, but typically range:

  • 2–10 business days once shipped.

These timeframes are estimates, not guarantees; delays may occur due to weather, holidays, or carrier issues.

4. International Shipping (If/When Offered)

If international shipping is enabled, the following applies:

  • Delivery times vary widely (2–6 weeks).

  • Customs fees, VAT, import taxes, or duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Customs may hold or inspect a package, causing delays outside my control.

Some countries restrict certain botanicals or curiosities. The buyer is responsible for ensuring items are permitted into their region.

5. Tracking Information

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you may follow your artifact’s journey from the apothecary to your door.

Please note:

  • Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update.

  • Some carriers provide limited updates for international orders.

6. Lost, Delayed, or Stalled Shipments

Once a package is handed to the carrier, the apothecary cannot guarantee delivery.

If a package becomes:

  • lost

  • severely delayed

  • or stalled in transit

You may contact me, and I will assist you in reaching out to the carrier.
However, replacements or refunds cannot be guaranteed until the carrier completes their investigation.

Every situation will be handled with fairness and care.

7. Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact the apothecary within 7 days of delivery with:

  • your name

  • order number

  • photos of the damage

Depending on the item and availability, you may receive:

  • a replacement,

  • or a refund.

Damage claims made after 7 days may not be eligible.

8. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your address is entered correctly at checkout.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided:

  • the apothecary is not responsible for lost or undeliverable packages

  • refunds may not be available

If the package is returned to me:

  • I can reship it once the buyer pays additional shipping costs.

9. Unclaimed or Refused Packages

If a package is:

  • refused

  • unclaimed

  • or returned by the carrier

…the buyer will be responsible for:

  • reshipment costs, or

  • may request a refund minus the original shipping fee.

This does not apply to packages returned due to carrier error.

10. Combining Orders

If multiple orders are placed separately, they may be combined at the apothecary’s discretion.
Excess shipping fees may be refunded if items are sent together.

11. Seasonal Delays

Please expect extended shipping times during:

  • the winter holidays

  • major postal backlogs

  • or high-demand periods (Samhain, solstices, etc.)

These delays are outside the apothecary’s control.
