Last week asked if you were brave enough to begin without knowing how it ends. The Fool stepped off the cliff, the New Moon in Aries planted seeds of courage, and Mars and Mercury both charged ahead in fire while Neptune whispered that vision and faith matter more than certainty. Friday brought inspired (or delusional) intentions. Saturday brought the reality check.

This week, everything shifts.

Sunday starts heavy. Mars conjuncts Saturn in Aries; the planet of action meeting the planet of limitation and discipline. All that courage and momentum from last week hits a wall, or at least a very serious reality check about whether you're actually willing to do the work required to build what you started.

On Monday, the Sun leaves Aries and enters Taurus. Aries season ends. The energy shifts from pioneering fire to grounded earth, from "start everything now" to "okay, now build it properly." Mercury conjuncts Mars in Aries the same day, offering one last burst of fast, direct, impatient communication before the fire calms.

Friday is packed. The First Quarter Moon in Leo asks for commitment; are you following through on what you planted at the New Moon, or releasing it? Venus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus right before both of them leave. Venus exits her home sign for airy Gemini, and Uranus (who's been in Taurus since 2018) prepares for his departure. Saturday, the Sun squares Pluto, asking what needs to transform in your sense of self and purpose.

Also on Saturday, Uranus enters Gemini.

Uranus changes signs roughly every seven years. He hasn't been in Gemini since the 1940s. This is generational. Uranus is revolution, innovation, sudden shifts, liberation, chaos that breaks old structures so new ones can emerge. In Gemini; communication, information, connection, ideas, technology, how we think and share and learn, expect the unexpected. For the next seven years.

Pay attention to what shifts this week. Aries season ending, Taurus season beginning, Venus leaving home, Uranus entering entirely new territory. Something is ending so something else can start. The question is whether you're building on what The Fool started last week, or whether you're already abandoning it.

Mars Conjunct Saturn in Aries (Apr 15 - Apr 23; Exact Apr 19)

Last week we decided to take that first step into a whole new world. In some cases it was less of a step and more of a flying leap off a cliff, but in either case, something was started. Now you need to actually figure out how to keep it going. The spark of the new is a temporary thing, and after it fades we need to keep going forward. Figure out how to make those dreams a long-term reality.

Sunday, Mars meets Saturn in Aries. This aspect creates friction between the desire to blaze forward and the need to keep a cool, disciplined head. Mars wants to charge ahead at full speed. Saturn says "slow down, build it properly, think long-term." In Aries, this feels particularly frustrating because Aries doesn't do patience or caution well.

It's going to feel like hitting a brick wall and then getting angry at how nothing is moving forward like it should. The momentum from last week, all that courage and initiation, suddenly meets limitation, delay, or the reality that building something real takes more than just brave beginnings.

Don't think of it as failure. Think of it as the challenge you need to get through. Obstacles help us solidify vague ideas into actual plans. Saturn isn't here to stop you; he's here to ask if you're serious enough about this to do the unglamorous work. Mars gives you the will. Saturn gives you the discipline. Together, they can build something that lasts instead of just burns bright and fizzles out.

The curator notes that The Fool's leap was necessary. Mars-Saturn's reality check is equally necessary. You can be both brave AND strategic. Sunday asks you to prove it.

Sun Enters Taurus (Apr 20)

On Monday the Sun leaves Aries and enters Taurus. Aries season ends. The fire that's been driving everything for the past month - all that courage, initiation, impatience, and "just start the thing already" energy - settles into earth.

Taurus doesn't charge ahead. Taurus builds. Slowly. Consistently. With attention to whether something actually feels good in the body, tastes right, looks beautiful, creates material stability. Aries threw the seeds with brave abandon. Taurus tends the garden with patient hands.

The shift is immediate. Where Aries asked "what do I want and how fast can I get it?", Taurus asks "what can I build that will last and actually bring me pleasure?" Where Aries was all fire and speed, Taurus is earth and patience. Where Aries pioneered new territory, Taurus says "okay, now make it stable, comfortable, and worth keeping."

This is excellent timing after Mars conjunct Saturn on Sunday. Saturn already asked if you're willing to do the work to build what you started. The Sun entering Taurus gives you the season to actually do it; to ground the vision, slow down enough to build properly, and remember that sustainable things grow at their own pace.

The curator notes that Taurus season is also significantly more interested in physical pleasure, sensory experience, good food, beautiful things, and financial security than Aries was. For the next month, the question isn't "am I brave enough?" It's "does this feel good, and can I build something real with it?"

Mercury Conjunct Saturn (Apr 18 - Apr 21; Exact Apr 20)

On Monday, Mercury conjuncts Saturn in Aries right before moving on to conjunct with Mars later in the day.

Saturn brings discipline to Mercury's communication and thinking. This is the reality check, the moment to slow down and consider what you're about to say or decide. Mercury-Saturn asks: are you thinking this through? Are you speaking with maturity and awareness of consequences? Can you communicate directly (Aries) while still being responsible about it?

This can be productive for serious conversations, making commitments, speaking with authority, or mental focus on important decisions. Saturn gives weight and gravity to what Mercury says. In Aries, this feels somewhat restrictive. Aries wants to think and speak fast, and Saturn demands patience and strategy first.

But here's why the timing is excellent: Mercury hits Saturn first, providing the discipline and thoughtfulness. Then, less than an hour of arc later, Mercury hits Mars; providing the courage and directness to actually say what Saturn helped you think through carefully.

The curator notes this is the order you want. Saturn first to plan the difficult conversation. Mars second to actually have it. Monday offers both -the wisdom to know what needs saying and the courage to say it. Use them in sequence. Think it through with Saturn. Deliver it with Mars.

Mercury Conjunct Mars (Apr 17 - Apr 23, Apr 20)

Timing can be an amazing thing, and in this case, this conjunction is happening right as the Sun moves out of Aries and into Taurus. Taurus prefers to be grounded, solid, and stable. Right about now, that energy is going to be very useful.

This conjunction between Mercury and Mars is sitting in Aries, leaving both communication and action in an impatient, rushed state. Mercury-Mars conjunctions are fast; thinking and doing happening almost simultaneously, sometimes without the space between to consider whether either is a good idea. This can give you the courage to do or say things that honestly needed to be said. Communication becomes more direct, if a bit unfiltered.

This could possibly lead you to say some things you don't particularly mean to. Or starting arguments that escalate faster than you intended. Or an inability to slow down your thoughts, your words, your decisions long enough to check if they're actually serving you. Mercury and Mars in Aries don't have a pause button, they have a "go NOW" button and not much else.

This is why leaning into that Taurus energy the Sun just brought is so important right now. That grounding, that solid footing, can be enough to keep those words and actions in check while you use the Aries energy to get final things finished while you still have it. Aries season is ending. This is the last burst of fire. Use it strategically, not recklessly.

The curator notes that Mercury-Mars in Aries gives you speed and directness. Whether that's useful or destructive depends entirely on whether you're aiming before you fire. Monday is a good day to say the hard thing. Just make sure it's the right hard thing before you say it.

First Quarter Moon in Leo (Apr 24)

Friday brings the First Quarter Moon in Leo; the checkpoint between the New Moon in Aries on April 17 and the next Full Moon. This is the decision point: are you following through on what you planted a week ago, or are you already abandoning it?

The First Quarter Moon asks for commitment or release. You set intentions at the New Moon Brave new beginnings, Fool-level leaps of faith, seeds planted in courage. Now, a week later, Leo asks: are you still tending those seeds? Are you showing up for what you started? Or did the initial excitement fade and you've already moved on to something else?

Leo is heart-centered. This isn't a practical Capricorn "are you doing the work?" checkpoint; it's a Leo "does this make you feel alive?" checkpoint. Are you following through because it genuinely lights you up and makes you want to be seen doing it? Or are you going through the motions because you said you would, but your heart isn't in it?

Friday asks you to be honest about what deserves your continued energy and what needs to be released so you can focus on what actually matters. Leo wants authenticity, creative expression, courage to shine. If what you started at the New Moon isn't bringing that, let it go. If it is, commit fully and stop hedging.

The curator notes this is excellent timing. Friday is packed with change. Venus leaving Taurus, Uranus about to enter Gemini tomorrow. The First Quarter Moon asks you to decide what you're taking with you into all that newness and what you're leaving behind.

Venus Conjunct Uranus (Apr 21 - Apr 26; Exact Apr 24)

Also on Friday, Venus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. Their last meeting before both of them leave. Venus exits Taurus for Gemini later the same day. Uranus exits Taurus for Gemini tomorrow. This is the goodbye conjunction, and it's not a quiet one.

Uranus disrupts. Venus in Taurus wants stability, comfort, predictable pleasure, financial security. Uranus says "but what about freedom? What about excitement? What if comfort has become a cage?" The conjunction brings sudden shifts in what you value, what you desire, who or what you're attracted to, or how you relate to money and pleasure.

This might show up as unexpected changes in relationships - sudden attractions, sudden clarity that something isn't working, sudden need for more independence or space. It might show up financially - unexpected money coming or going, breakthroughs in how you earn or spend. It might show up as liberation from patterns that felt safe but were actually keeping you stuck.

Venus conjunct Uranus doesn't wait for you to be ready. It just shifts things. In Taurus, this can feel destabilizing because Taurus really values predictability and comfort. But sometimes comfort needs disrupting so something more authentic can emerge.

The curator notes this is the last Taurus shake-up before both Venus and Uranus move into airy, communicative, restless Gemini. Whatever needs to change in your values, relationships, or sense of security, Friday will make it clear. Whether you act on that clarity is up to you.

Expect the unexpected. Embrace the liberation, even if it's uncomfortable.

Venus Enters Gemini (Apr 24)

Later on Friday, after conjuncting Uranus and shaking things up, Venus leaves Taurus and enters Gemini.

Venus has been in Taurus since late March; grounded, sensual, stable, focused on physical pleasure and material security. In her own sign, she was comfortable, patient, building slowly. Now she enters Gemini, and everything lightens, speeds up, and becomes significantly more curious and restless.

Venus in Gemini is social, communicative, intellectually stimulated by variety and newness. She's less interested in deep sensory experience and more interested in interesting conversation, mental connection, playful flirtation, and having multiple options. Where Venus in Taurus wanted one beautiful, stable thing to invest in long-term, Venus in Gemini wants several interesting things to explore simultaneously.

This shifts how you approach love, pleasure, relationships, and what you value. Less "does this feel good in my body and can I build on it?" and more "is this interesting? Does this person stimulate my mind? Can we talk for hours?" Venus in Gemini loves variety, communication, lightness, and keeping things moving. She gets bored easily. Commitment feels restrictive unless there's mental stimulation and freedom to explore.

The curator notes that Venus leaving Taurus the same day she conjuncts Uranus is pointed timing. Whatever Uranus disrupted in your sense of stability and comfort, Venus immediately moves into airy, curious, "let's try something different" energy. For the next few weeks, relationships and pleasure are less about security and more about stimulation.

Talk more. Explore options. Stay curious. Venus in Gemini rewards flexibility and communication over attachment to outcomes.

Sun Square Pluto (Apr 22 - Apr 28; Exact Apr 25)

Saturday, the Sun in Taurus squares Pluto in Aquarius. This is tension between your sense of self, purpose, and vitality (Sun) and the demand for deep transformation and letting go of control (Pluto).

Sun-Pluto squares ask: what needs to die in how you see yourself so something more authentic can emerge? Where are you clinging to an identity, a role, or a sense of purpose that's actually become a cage? Pluto doesn't care if it's comfortable or familiar, he cares if it's real.

In Taurus-Aquarius, this is tension between personal security and stability (Taurus) versus collective evolution and change (Aquarius). The Sun in Taurus wants things to stay solid, predictable, and materially secure. Pluto in Aquarius says the systems and structures you're building your identity on need to transform for the sake of broader evolution.

This might show up as power struggles, control issues surfacing, or confrontations with authority (yours or someone else's). It might show up as realizing something about yourself or your path that requires letting go of who you thought you were. Squares create friction. Sun-Pluto friction is intense. Ego meeting the underworld rarely feels gentle.

The curator notes this happens the same day Uranus enters Gemini. Between Pluto asking what needs to transform in your identity and Uranus shifting the entire landscape for the next seven years. Saturday is not a day for clinging to the familiar. Let go of what's dying. Trust what's emerging, even if you can't see it clearly yet.

Transformation isn't optional. How you respond to it is.

Uranus Enters Gemini (Apr 25)

And then Saturday, Uranus enters Gemini.

Uranus changes signs roughly every seven years. He's been in Taurus since 2018, disrupting stability, finances, material security, and our relationship with earth and resources. Now he enters Gemini - communication, information, ideas, technology, connection, how we think and share and learn.

For the next seven years, expect the unexpected in all things Gemini. Communication technology will evolve (or revolt) in ways we can't predict. Information systems will be disrupted and rebuilt. How we connect, learn, share ideas, and process the sheer volume of data coming at us will transform radically. Uranus brings revolution, innovation, sudden shifts, liberation, and chaos that breaks old structures so new ones can form.

In Gemini specifically, this could mean breakthroughs in AI and communication tech, disruptions to media and journalism, radical changes in education and how we learn, unexpected shifts in social connection and community building, or information overload reaching critical mass and forcing new approaches.

Personally, Uranus in Gemini will affect how you communicate, what you're curious about, how you process information, who you connect with, and what ideas you're willing to explore. The unexpected will arrive through conversations, messages, learning, and mental breakthroughs. Stay flexible. Stay curious. The ground is shifting.

The curator notes that Uranus entering Gemini the same weekend Venus leaves Taurus for Gemini is not coincidence. The spirits are moving everything from earth to air, from stability to movement, from building to communicating. The past seven years asked you to revolutionize security. The next seven ask you to revolutionize connection.

Welcome to the shift. It's going to be interesting.

What is a Void of Course Moon?

Think of the Moon as the cosmic "Project Manager" of our daily lives. As it travels through a zodiac sign, it "talks" to other planets (making aspects). The Void of Course period begins the moment the Moon finishes its last conversation in one sign and lasts until it enters the next sign.

It’s a time when the "weaver has dropped her thread." Because the Moon isn't making any new connections, the energy is "adrift."

What to do:

  • Rest and Routine: Perfect for chores, cleaning, or mindless admin.

  • Reflection: Excellent for journaling or meditating.

  • Finish what’s started: Wrap up old projects rather than launching new ones.

What to avoid (if possible):

  • Big Launches: If you start a business or launch a product now, it may "go nowhere."

  • Important Signatures: Contracts signed in the void often need to be revised later.

  • First Dates: The "vibe" might be hard to pin down.

Void of Course Times: Apr 19 - Apr 25, 2026 (EDT times)

Apr 19 - 11:44 until it enters Gemini at 12:18

Apr 20 - 01:17 until it enters Cancer on Apr 21 at 13:00

Apr 23 - 15:27 until it enters Leo at 15:41Apr 25 - 21:04 until it enters Virgo at 21:05

Tarot Card of the Week

Seven of Pentacles

"I pause to assess what I've planted. I honor the work already done while asking honestly: is this harvest worth continuing to tend?"

The Seven of Pentacles shows up this week; a figure leaning on a garden tool, looking at what's growing, pausing to assess. They've already done the work. Seeds planted, ground tended, effort invested. Now they're asking: is this actually growing into what I hoped? Is it worth continuing? Or should I redirect my energy elsewhere?

This is the perfect card for a week that starts with Mars conjunct Saturn asking if you're willing to do the work to build what you started, and ends with Uranus entering Gemini asking if maybe it's time to shift direction entirely.

Sunday's reality check with Mars-Saturn says: look at what you've been building. Be honest about whether it's working. Monday, the Sun enters Taurus and you get a whole season to tend what you've planted, but only if it's worth tending. Friday, the First Quarter Moon in Leo asks the same question: are you still committed to this, or is it time to let it go?

The Seven of Pentacles doesn't give you the answer. It just makes you stop and look. You've invested time, energy, hope. That matters. But investment alone doesn't mean you should keep investing. Sometimes the harvest isn't coming. Sometimes the growth is slower than you can sustain. Sometimes what you planted isn't actually what you need anymore.

Saturday, Uranus enters Gemini and shifts the entire landscape for the next seven years. The Seven of Pentacles says: before that shift happens, assess honestly. What's worth carrying forward? What needs to be composted so you can plant something new in different soil?

The curator notes that this card isn't about giving up too early or holding on too long. It's about pausing in the middle of the work to check if the work is still serving you. Look at what you've built. Decide accordingly.

Weekly Herbal Allies

Lavender - Taurus herb -grounding, calming, beautiful. Supports the Sun entering Taurus and Venus's last days there. Helps navigate change (Uranus) without losing your center. Clarity through calm.

Weekly Crystal Allies

Green Aventurine - Heart-centered growth, patience with process, luck in ventures. Very Seven of Pentacles, supports assessment of what you're building. Taurus energy (earth, steady growth) meeting Leo First Quarter Moon (heart-centered decisions).

Moss Agate - Gardener's stone, new growth, patience. THE Seven of Pentacles crystal. Supports Taurus season's slow building and helps you see what's actually growing vs. what you hoped would grow.

Labradorite - Transformation, intuition, navigating change. Perfect for Uranus entering Gemini; helps you adapt to sudden shifts while trusting your inner guidance. Protects during disruption.

Citrine - Abundance, clarity, adaptability. Supports assessment (Seven of Pentacles), Taurus season building, and the mental flexibility needed for Uranus in Gemini. Optimism during change.

Closing Reflection

Last week, The Fool stepped off the cliff. The New Moon in Aries asked what you were brave enough to begin. Mercury and Mars both charged ahead in fire while Neptune whispered that faith matters more than certainty. You planted seeds. You leaped.

This week asks: now what?

Sunday, Mars meets Saturn and the reality check arrives. Are you actually willing to do the unglamorous work to build what you started? Monday, the Sun enters Taurus and Aries season ends. The fire settles into earth. The question shifts from "am I brave enough?" to "can I build something real with this?" Also Monday, Mercury hits both Saturn and Mars; first the discipline to think it through, then the courage to say it directly.

Friday is packed. The First Quarter Moon in Leo asks if you're still committed to what you planted or if it's time to release it. Venus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus one last time before both of them leave - expect unexpected shifts in what you value, desire, or feel secure in. Then Venus enters Gemini and everything lightens, speeds up, gets more curious and restless.

Saturday, the Sun squares Pluto asking what needs to transform in how you see yourself and your purpose. And then Uranus enters Gemini, shifting the landscape for the next seven years. Communication, connection, information, ideas. Everything Gemini touches will be revolutionized, disrupted, liberated, and rebuilt.

The Seven of Pentacles appears in the middle of all this, leaning on a garden tool, looking at what's growing, asking: is this harvest worth continuing to tend? You've invested time and energy. That matters. But investment alone doesn't mean you should keep investing. Sometimes the growth isn't coming. Sometimes what you planted isn't what you need anymore.

The curator notes that this week is asking you to assess honestly before the ground shifts entirely. What you've been building, is it working? What you've been tending, is it growing? What you started when The Fool leaped, does it still serve you, or was it just a necessary beginning that's leading somewhere else?

Pause. Look at what you've planted. Decide what's worth carrying into the next seven years of Uranus-driven change and what needs to be composted so new things can grow.
