We're looking at a busy week this week. People have been talking about the upcoming lunar eclipse on Tuesday, but we also have some other major transits to be aware of. Mercury retrograde is in full swing, lending an energy of communication troubles and reminding us not to make assumptions.

But the real story this week is Venus. On Friday, Venus enters Aries and immediately walks into the Saturn-Neptune conjunction zone that's been the backdrop of 2026 so far. Venus will conjunct Neptune on Saturday and Saturn on Sunday - meaning what we love, what we value, and what we desire is being tested against both our dreams AND the work required to make them real. This is happening at the pioneering edge of Aries, asking: are you willing to fight for what you love? Are your relationships and values aligned with the new territory you're building?

Add to that Mars entering Pisces on Monday (bringing emotional, intuitive action) and the Sun meeting Mercury retrograde mid-week (offering potential clarity and breakthrough insights), and you've got a week that's asking for presence, emotional honesty, and the courage to release what's not serving the path forward.

Saturn and Neptune are still conjunct through mid-March - we're still in that "make dreams real through courageous action" territory. This week just intensifies it by bringing Venus (love, values, worth) into the equation. Let's break it down.

Mars Enters Pisces (Mar 2)

Early this week we have Mars moving over into Pisces. Coming out of Aquarius's more detached, intellectual kind of action and into Pisces' emotional intuitiveness. Pisces is a bit foggy in most places, and in this case it can make action confusing, motivations unclear. There's potential for passive-aggressive behavior when we can't articulate what we actually want or need.

But Mars in Pisces also has beautiful potential - this is the spiritual warrior, the compassionate fighter. Action driven by empathy and intuition rather than logic. Fighting for those who can't fight for themselves. Creative action that flows rather than forces.

With Mercury already retrograde in Pisces, both our thinking AND our actions are operating in this emotional, intuitive space through mid-March. This can feel disorienting if you're used to clear direction and decisive action. But it can also open doors to acting from a deeper, more soulful place. Trust your intuition, but also check in with reality. Not every feeling needs to become an action right now, especially with Mercury retrograde still asking us to review before we move forward.

Mars will be in Pisces through mid-April, so we'll be learning to work with this energy for a while.

Lunar Eclipse in Virgo (Mar 3)

Let's start with what lunar eclipses are. These times have more to do with emotions and relationships (between people, things, and otherwise). They tend to put a focus on things we may lack or need to release - culmination points where something comes to a head and demands our attention. Eclipses are cosmic wild cards, bringing fated moments and revelations that shift our path.

In this case we are dealing with Virgo vs. Pisces. In other words, finding a balance between the day-to-day routine and grounded responsibility (Virgo) and the floaty dreaminess and spiritual health of Pisces. Between practical service and compassionate surrender. Between perfecting the details and trusting the bigger picture. Grounding while existing with your head in the clouds.

With the Moon in Virgo, this eclipse is asking us to look at where perfectionism has become paralyzing. Where criticism (of ourselves or others) has replaced compassion. Where service has become martyrdom. Where our daily routines or health have reached a breaking point. Something in the practical, physical realm is culminating and asking to be released or transformed.

The Sun in Pisces offers the counterbalance - faith, trust, spiritual perspective, the reminder that not everything needs to be controlled or perfected. Sometimes we need to let go of the details and surrender to what is. But Virgo's lesson matters too: dreams without daily discipline go nowhere. Spirituality without grounded practice becomes escapism.

This eclipse asks: where do you need to release rigid perfectionism and trust the flow? And conversely, where do you need more structure and practical action to support your spiritual vision? The answer is probably both, in different areas. Pay attention to what's culminating this week - especially around health, work, daily routines, or how you serve others. Something is completing so the next chapter can begin.

Sun Trine Jupiter (Mar 2 - Mar 8, Exact Mar 5)

Midweek we're getting a bit of a breather. The Sun in Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer. Water all around! In this aspect we're finding our optimism aligning with our sense of self. The ability to give ourselves some grace. Which is going to be very important right now, with everything else asking so much of us this week. Take advantage of Thursday's softer energy - have important conversations, work on creative projects, or just rest in the knowledge that there's still hope and wisdom available even in confusing times.

Venus Enters Aries (Mar 6)

Come the end of this week we have Venus entering Aries. Moving from the wide, unconditional, universal love of Pisces and into the more self-focused love of Aries. Where we start turning all that care we offered to others and direct it inward. We enter a time where we need to look at ourselves, take care of ourselves, know our worth, and be willing to fight for what we desire.

Venus in Aries is direct, passionate, and impatient. It knows what it wants and goes after it. It's self-love as a radical act, not selfishness but necessary self-preservation. It's saying "I matter too" and meaning it.

But here's what makes this entrance particularly significant: Venus is entering at 0° Aries, right where Saturn and Neptune have been conjunct since late December. This means Venus is about to activate that entire "make dreams real through courageous, disciplined action" energy we've been working with all year.

On Saturday, Venus conjuncts Neptune. On Sunday, Venus conjuncts Saturn. What you love, what you value, what you're willing to work for - all of this is being tested and refined by the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Are your relationships aligned with the new territory you're pioneering? Are you loving yourself enough to do the hard work your dreams require? Are your values supporting the path forward or holding you back?

This isn't gentle. But it's necessary. Venus in Aries + Saturn-Neptune asks: what are you willing to fight for? And are you willing to do the work to make it real?

Sun Conjunct Mercury Retrograde (Mar 6 - Mar 8, exact Mar 7)

At the end of this week we're going to be hitting the midpoint of this Mercury retrograde. Mercury is going to cross the Sun in its backwards motion, which changes the energy of the retrograde a bit. We go from the mess and confusion into something of an "ohhhhhhh, THAT is why this is happening." The shake-ups and communication issues come a little more into light. We're still in backwards motion so it's not quite time to run forward just yet, but at least we can look at what is happening with more understanding.

This is happening in Pisces, so stop really focusing on the logic of the thing and lean into the spiritual, the irrational. Where does the dream and reality intersect? Pay attention to insights that come through feelings, dreams, intuition, creative inspiration. The answers won't be logical - they'll be felt. Journal, take notes, because Pisces insights can slip away like water if you don't catch them.

Venus Conjunct Neptune (Mar 5 - Mar 10, exact Mar 7)

Saturday brings Venus to her meeting with Neptune at 1-2° Aries, and this is where dreams and love collide. Venus conjunct Neptune is romantic, idealistic, spiritually beautiful - it's seeing the divine in another person, feeling unconditional love, being inspired by pure possibility. In Aries, this idealism is focused on new beginnings, independence, and self-love. It's dreaming about what could be, who you could become, what new chapter of love or creativity is waiting to unfold.

This is gorgeous energy for spiritual connection, creative inspiration, and compassionate love. If you're feeling romantic, inspired, or deeply moved by beauty - let yourself feel it. Neptune-Venus moments are rare and sacred.

But here's the warning: Neptune also brings illusion, and Venus in this combination can see what it WANTS to see rather than what actually is. You might romanticize someone who isn't ready, idealize a situation that isn't real, or convince yourself that a new beginning is calling when it's actually just escapism. Boundaries can dissolve in ways that feel spiritual but are actually just confusing.

This is particularly tricky because Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces, making everything even foggier. Don't make big relationship decisions or financial commitments on Saturday. Don't reach out to an ex just because you're feeling nostalgic and romantic. Don't assume that what feels like divine guidance is actually clarity - it might just be wishful thinking.

Enjoy the beauty, the inspiration, the spiritual connection. But wait for tomorrow when Venus meets Saturn before you act on anything. Saturn will bring the reality check, and you'll need both the dream (Neptune) AND the discipline (Saturn) to make anything real.

Venus Conjunct Saturn (Mar 5 - Mar 11, exact Mar 8)

Sunday brings the other half of Venus's journey through the Saturn-Neptune conjunction: Venus meets Saturn. If Saturday was about the dream, Sunday is about the work. If Neptune showed you the vision of what's possible in love, relationships, and self-worth, Saturn is asking: are you willing to do what it takes to make it real?

Venus-Saturn conjunctions are not romantic or easy. This is love meeting responsibility, desire meeting limitation, idealism meeting reality. Saturn asks hard questions: Is this relationship actually solid, or just a nice idea? Are you loving yourself enough to set boundaries and demand what you're worth? Are your values aligned with the life you're actually building, or are they just pretty concepts?

In Aries, this is about self-love and independence meeting discipline. It's courageous, but it's not soft. You might feel restricted, lonely, or like love requires too much effort. Relationships that aren't built on solid ground might crack under pressure. Financial realities might become impossible to ignore. The gap between what you want and what you're willing to work for becomes very clear.

But here's the gift: Saturn doesn't tear things down just to be cruel. It shows you what's worth keeping and what needs to be released so you can build something that lasts. If a relationship survives Venus-Saturn, it's because there's real commitment and maturity there. If self-worth feels challenged, it's because Saturn is asking you to stop accepting less than you deserve.

This is the culmination of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction story we've been in since late December. Dreams (Neptune) meet discipline (Saturn), and Venus (what you love and value) is the catalyst. What are you willing to fight for? What are you willing to build? What requires the courage to walk away, and what deserves the courage to stay and do the work?

Take Saturday's vision and Sunday's reality check together. The answer is somewhere in between - not pure dream, not harsh limitation, but grounded hope and disciplined love. That's what pioneers at 0° Aries actually do: they build new territory with both faith and work.

What is a Void of Course Moon?

Think of the Moon as the cosmic "Project Manager" of our daily lives. As it travels through a zodiac sign, it "talks" to other planets (making aspects). The Void of Course period begins the moment the Moon finishes its last conversation in one sign and lasts until it enters the next sign.

It’s a time when the "weaver has dropped her thread." Because the Moon isn't making any new connections, the energy is "adrift."

What to do:

  • Rest and Routine: Perfect for chores, cleaning, or mindless admin.

  • Reflection: Excellent for journaling or meditating.

  • Finish what’s started: Wrap up old projects rather than launching new ones.

What to avoid (if possible):

  • Big Launches: If you start a business or launch a product now, it may "go nowhere."

  • Important Signatures: Contracts signed in the void often need to be revised later.

  • First Dates: The "vibe" might be hard to pin down.

Void of Course Times: Mar 2 – Mar 8, 2026 (EST times)

Mar 2 - 7:27 am until it enters Virgo at 7:34 am

Mar 4 - 9:52 am until it enters Libra at 1:56 pm

Mar 6 - 6:22 until it enters Scorpio on Mar 6 at 11:02 pm

Closing Reflection

This week doesn't mess around. From the Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday forcing releases and revelations, to Mars entering the foggy waters of Pisces, to the Sun-Mercury conjunction offering breakthrough clarity mid-retrograde, to Venus walking straight into the Saturn-Neptune conjunction that's defined the first quarter of 2026 - this is a week of culminations and reality checks.

The question running through all of it is this: What are you willing to work for? What dreams are worth the discipline? What relationships and values deserve your courage and commitment? The eclipse revealed what needs to be released. Venus meeting Neptune showed you the vision. Venus meeting Saturn asked if you're ready to do the work to make it real.

And all of this is happening while Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces, asking you to feel your way through rather than think your way through. Trust the insights that come mid-week when the Sun meets Mercury - those revelations are showing you WHY all of this is necessary. The fog serves a purpose. The confusion is part of the clarity.

Mars in Pisces through mid-April means your actions are being guided by intuition and emotion now, not logic and strategy. That's uncomfortable if you're used to clear direction, but it's also an invitation to trust a deeper knowing. Saturn and Neptune at 0° Aries are still asking you to pioneer new territory - Venus just made that very personal by bringing love, worth, and values into the equation.

Be patient with yourself this week. Let the eclipse release what needs to go. Let the Sun-Mercury conjunction show you what you needed to understand. Let Venus meeting Neptune inspire you, and let Venus meeting Saturn ground you. You need both the dream and the work. Both the vision and the discipline. Both the faith and the courage.

You're building something new. It's not going to be easy or fast. But if it's real, it's worth it. And Sunday will help you know the difference.

Tarot Card of the Week

King of Wands

"I am the visionary and the builder. My dreams are worth my discipline, and I have the courage to make them real."

The King of Wands shows up this week as the embodiment of everything Saturn and Neptune at 0° Aries have been asking of us since late December. He is the leader who has BOTH the vision (Neptune) AND the discipline to execute it (Saturn). He doesn't just dream - he builds. He doesn't just plan - he acts. He's confident, bold, and courageous enough to pioneer new territory even when the path isn't perfectly clear.

This week has asked a lot of you. The Lunar Eclipse forced releases. Mercury retrograde created confusion before offering clarity. Venus meeting Neptune showed you the dream, and Venus meeting Saturn asked if you're willing to do the work. Mars in Pisces has made action feel foggy and intuitive rather than clear and strategic.

The King of Wands says: you have what it takes. After all this review, revelation, and reality-checking, you're ready to step into leadership of your own life. Not reckless action - that's the Knight. Not just inspiration - that's the Page. This is mature, confident, visionary action. You've done the internal work. You've faced the hard questions. Now it's time to move forward with both passion and strategy.

How to work with King of Wands energy this week:

  • Lead with vision - Even if the details are unclear (Mars in Pisces, Mercury retrograde), trust the bigger picture you've been shown

  • Take inspired action - Don't wait for perfect clarity. The King acts on what he knows, adjusting as he goes

  • Be confident in your worth - Venus-Saturn asked hard questions about your value. The King knows his worth and doesn't apologize for it

  • Balance passion with discipline - You need both fire (inspiration, courage) and earth (planning, follow-through)

  • Trust your leadership - You don't need permission to pioneer. Step into the role you're being called to

The King of Wands doesn't wait for the path to be perfectly lit. He carries the torch himself. That's what this week is asking of you: be the light, the vision, the courage. You've got this.
