Finally getting some time to breathe this week. The main event this week is that after five months in retrograde, Jupiter is finally getting its act together and going direct. Finally, growth can feel more like it's actually growing!

However, it's not a time to totally relax. We still have Mercury retrograde going on, though it's in its downswing (goes direct March 20). The Saturn-Neptune conjunction is still active in the background, continuing to ask us to make dreams real through disciplined action. The

Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius is going to ask us to release what's stopping our personal growth and truth-seeking. And come the weekend, Mercury and Mars cross paths in Pisces, encouraging us to lean into our emotions and intuition in our conversations and actions.

After the intensity of eclipses and Venus activating Saturn-Neptune last week, this feels like a gift - still work to do, but with more breathing room and optimism returning.

Mercury Trine Jupiter (Mar 6 - Mar 12; Exact Mar 9)

We're going to be starting this week with some good vibrations. Even with both planets in retrograde, this aspect between Mercury and Jupiter is a harmonious one. Both of them are sitting in water signs this time around - Mercury in Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer - asking us what wisdom we can gain from looking inward.

This isn't about charging forward or making big moves. Both planets are still in review mode, Mercury until March 20 and Jupiter until Tuesday the 11th. But this trine offers something valuable: optimistic perspective on what you're reconsidering. Faith that the review period has purpose. Emotional wisdom about why things needed to slow down.

This is excellent energy for revisiting old ideas or conversations with fresh perspective, journaling about what you've learned during these retrogrades, or having compassionate discussions about feelings and the bigger picture. The insights won't necessarily be logical; they'll be felt. Trust what resonates emotionally and spiritually, even if you can't articulate exactly why yet.

Think of this as one last positive internal check-in before Jupiter goes direct on Tuesday and starts moving expansion forward again. What has this slowdown taught you? What truth or wisdom emerged from the pause? That's what this aspect is highlighting.

Venus Sextile Pluto (Mar 8 - Mar 3/12; Exact Mar 10)

Monday brings a subtle but powerful opportunity for transformation in relationships and self-worth. Venus in Aries forms a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius - a harmonious 60° aspect that offers depth and empowerment if you reach for it.

Sextiles don't just happen to you like trines do - they require conscious engagement. This is an invitation, not a guarantee. If you lean into it, this aspect supports courageous conversations about power dynamics in relationships, healing old wounds around self-worth, or attracting connections that honor both your independence and authentic depth. Venus in Aries knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. Pluto in Aquarius asks: what needs to transform in how you relate to others, to yourself, to your values?

This is excellent energy for getting real about what you're worth and what you actually want in relationships - not what you think you should want, but what genuinely aligns with who you're becoming. If something needs to shift or deepen, Monday offers the opportunity. Take it.

Jupiter Stations Direct (Mar 11)

Midweek we're getting some forward motion. Jupiter is done with the retrograde it's been in since last October. There had been a kind of stall in our personal growth, our beliefs and sense of faith had been being tested. Opportunities felt delayed or on hold. Expansion was happening internally rather than externally. Here we are, finally getting a chance to relax and put all that we've learned about ourselves in Jupiter's realm to work.

Jupiter in Cancer means this retrograde has been specifically about home, family, emotional security, and how we nurture ourselves and others. If you've been working on healing family dynamics, creating a sense of home, or developing emotional wisdom over the past five months. That work can now move forward and manifest in tangible ways.

Growth doesn't feel theoretical anymore. It feels possible and real. Optimism returns with actual momentum behind it, not just hope without movement. What's been percolating since October can finally expand outward. Projects related to home, family, creativity, or emotional development that felt stuck can start progressing again.

This is your green light to act on what you've learned during the retrograde. The faith you've been building internally? Time to live it. The emotional work you've done? It can bear fruit now. Pay attention to what opportunities or growth areas open up this week. Jupiter direct is giving you permission to expand.

Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius (Mar 11)

Also happening on Tuesday - the Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius. This is the release point in the lunar cycle, the moment halfway between the Full Moon and the New Moon where we're asked to let go of what's no longer serving the path forward.

In Sagittarius, this moon asks: What beliefs are keeping you small? What stories about yourself or the world are blocking your growth and freedom? Where have you been playing it safe when you need to take a leap of faith? Sagittarius is about truth, expansion, adventure, and the big picture - this quarter moon wants you to release whatever's in the way of that.

The timing is perfect. Jupiter - the ruler of Sagittarius - goes direct the same day. It's like the universe is saying: release what's blocking your growth so Jupiter can actually expand you forward. Let go of the limiting beliefs, the fear-based stories, the "I can't" narratives. Make space for the optimism and opportunities that Jupiter direct is bringing.

This isn't about releasing relationships or tangible things (unless they're genuinely blocking your truth). This is about releasing internal restrictions; the beliefs, fears, and stories that keep you from stepping into your full potential. What would you do if you truly believed growth was possible? That's what this moon is asking you to move toward by releasing what stands in the way.

Mercury Conjunct Mars in Pisces (Mar 13 - Mar 17, exact Mar 15)

The week closes with Mercury retrograde meeting Mars in Pisces - both planets operating in foggy, emotional, intuitive waters. When the planet of communication (Mercury) meets the planet of action (Mars), things usually get direct and assertive. But in Pisces? Not so much.

This conjunction can go a few different ways. On the challenging side, it can bring passive-aggressive communication, arguments that never quite get to the point, or frustration because you can't clearly articulate what you want or need. Mars wants to act decisively, but Pisces doesn't do decisive - it flows, feels, and adapts. Mercury retrograde wants to review and reconsider, not charge forward. Put them together and you might feel like you're trying to have an important conversation underwater.

But there's a higher expression too: compassionate communication, speaking truth with emotional sensitivity, taking action based on intuition rather than logic, or having spiritual/creative conversations that don't need to make rational sense. This is excellent energy for artistic collaboration, discussing feelings and dreams, or acting from a place of empathy rather than ego.

The key is to not expect clarity or directness right now. If you need to have a difficult conversation, approach it with compassion and be willing to feel your way through rather than plan every word. If you're taking action on something, trust your intuition even if the "why" isn't perfectly clear. And if things feel frustrating or unclear. That's Pisces doing what Pisces does. Give it space to be messy and emotional. Mercury goes direct in 5 days anyway.

What is a Void of Course Moon?

Think of the Moon as the cosmic "Project Manager" of our daily lives. As it travels through a zodiac sign, it "talks" to other planets (making aspects). The Void of Course period begins the moment the Moon finishes its last conversation in one sign and lasts until it enters the next sign.

It’s a time when the "weaver has dropped her thread." Because the Moon isn't making any new connections, the energy is "adrift."

What to do:

  • Rest and Routine: Perfect for chores, cleaning, or mindless admin.

  • Reflection: Excellent for journaling or meditating.

  • Finish what’s started: Wrap up old projects rather than launching new ones.

What to avoid (if possible):

  • Big Launches: If you start a business or launch a product now, it may "go nowhere."

  • Important Signatures: Contracts signed in the void often need to be revised later.

  • First Dates: The "vibe" might be hard to pin down.

Void of Course Times: Mar 2 – Mar 8, 2026 (EST times)

Mar 9 - 7:27 am until it enters Sagittarius at 11:37 am

Mar 11 - 5:38 am until it enters Capricorn on Mar 12 at 12:07 am

Mar 14 - 7:34 am until it enters Aquarius at 11:14 am

Tarot Card of the Week

The Emperor

"I build my dreams into lasting reality through disciplined leadership and wise authority."

The Emperor shows up this week as Jupiter goes direct, and that's no accident. In mythology, Jupiter (Zeus) was the king of the gods - the ultimate authority, the father figure, the one who brought order and justice. The Emperor card carries that same energy: leadership, structure, stability, and the wisdom to use power well.

Jupiter going direct brings expansion, growth, and opportunities moving forward again after five months of retrograde review. The Emperor says: now take that growth and build something stable with it. Don't just expand chaotically, create structure. Don't just dream, execute with strategy and discipline. This is Saturn-Neptune energy too, the dream (Neptune/Jupiter) meets the builder (Saturn/Emperor).

The Emperor is the counterbalance to all the Pisces fog we've been navigating (Mercury retrograde, Mars in Pisces, Mercury-Mars conjunction). Yes, trust your intuition and feel your way through - but also have a plan. Set boundaries. Take charge of what you can control. Be the leader of your own life.

How to work with Emperor energy this week:

  • Create structure around Jupiter's opportunities - When growth or expansion becomes available, organize it. Make a plan. Build foundations.

  • Take responsibility and lead - Don't wait for someone else to make decisions or take charge. Step into your authority.

  • Balance emotion with strategy - Mars and Mercury in Pisces want to flow and feel. The Emperor brings wise structure to that.

  • Protect what you're building - Set boundaries. Say no to what doesn't serve your vision. The Emperor is a protector.

  • Use power wisely - You have more authority and capability than you think. Use it with integrity.

The Last Quarter Moon asks you to release chaos and instability so the Emperor can build. Jupiter direct gives you the expansion. The Emperor shows you how to make it last. Be the wise ruler of your own kingdom.

Cedar Grounding, protective, and associated with strength and longevity, very Emperor energy. Cedar helps you build solid foundations and stay rooted while Jupiter expands opportunities. Also good for clearing stagnant energy before new growth.

Cinnamon Jupiter's herb - abundance, success, prosperity, speed. As Jupiter goes direct, cinnamon amplifies the forward momentum and attracts opportunities. Also warming and energizing to counterbalance Pisces fog.

Weekly Crystal Allies

Tiger's Eye THE Emperor stone - courage, confidence, grounded power, strategic thinking. Helps you take charge and make wise decisions. Perfect for balancing Pisces emotion with Emperor structure. Also attracts abundance (Jupiter).

Citrine Jupiter's stone - optimism, abundance, manifestation, solar energy. As Jupiter goes direct, citrine amplifies growth and opportunity. Helps you stay positive and attract success.

Smoky Quartz Grounding and organizing energy - perfect for taking Jupiter's expansion and Emperor's vision and actually building it into reality. Clears mental fog (helpful with Mercury retrograde ending soon) and provides stable foundation.

Pyrite Manifestation, willpower, abundance, masculine energy. Very Emperor + Jupiter - the will to build (Emperor) + the expansion to grow (Jupiter). Protective and empowering.

Closing Reflection

After the intensity of the past few weeks - the eclipse, Venus activating Saturn-Neptune, all that emotional and spiritual heavy lifting - this week offers something we desperately need: hope with a plan.

Jupiter going direct on Tuesday is the turning point. Five months of internal growth, tested faith, and delayed expansion finally get to move forward. But The Emperor reminds us that forward momentum without structure is just chaos. This isn't about rushing ahead recklessly - it's about taking what you've learned during Jupiter's retrograde and building it into something solid and lasting.

The Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius asks you to release whatever beliefs or stories are keeping you small. What are you ready to let go of so Jupiter can actually expand you? What internal limitations need to be cleared out so The Emperor can build on stable ground?

Mercury and Mars meeting in Pisces at the end of the week keeps things emotional and intuitive rather than purely logical. That's okay. The Emperor doesn't reject emotion - he just doesn't let it run wild without direction. Feel your way through, trust your intuition, have those compassionate conversations - but also make a plan. Set boundaries. Take charge where you can.

We're still in Mercury retrograde until March 20, and Saturn-Neptune is still active in the background asking us to make dreams real through disciplined action. This week is about preparing for the forward momentum that's coming. Jupiter is giving you the green light for growth. The Emperor is teaching you how to build it wisely.

You've done the internal work. You've reviewed, reconsidered, and reflected. Now it's time to organize what you've learned and start building. The king is ready. Are you?
