Greetings friends.

I believe the rest of you have noticed as I have that the beginning of this year has been wild, energetically speaking. Shifts in the old ways that we used to live our lives... shake ups in the day to day. And, if you're anything like me, it's felt like it's been getting stronger the more we move along. Like being caught up in a riptide going... somewhere.

This week we're going to talk about why. Saturn and Neptune have been moving together since late last December and are coming to a peak this week - specifically on February 20th, when they meet exactly at 0° Aries. This is significant. These two planets only conjunct every 36 years, making this a generational turning point. And it's happening at the absolute beginning of the zodiac - 0° Aries, the spark of pure initiation.

The two have been in this dance of "dream... but be realistic" - both looking beyond the illusions brought on by Neptune and working through the limitations we've been feeling from Saturn's influence. In the last few weeks both of them moved from Pisces into Aries, and we're feeling the call to action. To move. To take the lessons learned and the dreams we've dreamed and ACT upon them.

But this isn't reckless action. Saturn demands discipline and maturity. Neptune asks for faith and vision. At 0° Aries, we're pioneering something entirely new - but it requires both courage AND commitment. This energy will stay with us through mid-March, so there's no rush. Pay attention to what wants to be built, what dream is asking to become real, what new beginning requires both your faith and your work. This is the backdrop for everything else happening this month.

Sun square Uranus (Feb 15-18, exact Feb 16)

The Sun is going to be having some struggles with Uranus this week. Your sense of self might be challenged by some unforeseen event or change. Plans may shift unexpectedly, or you might find a sudden change in perspective that rocks the boat a bit. There's a feeling of restlessness in the air that isn't really going to let up fully until near the end of the week.

With the Sun in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus, this tension plays out between spiritual direction and material reality. Your intuition might be pulling you one way while practical concerns or physical circumstances push back. That said, these shake-ups can end up giving you a wider perspective to learn from. Sometimes disruption is exactly what we need to break out of patterns that were keeping us stuck.

Mercury trine Jupiter (Feb 14-19; exact Feb 16)

A little cosmic relief amidst all the intensity. Mercury in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer are flowing together beautifully this week. This is great energy for compassionate conversations, creative expression, and seeing the bigger picture with empathy. If you need to have an important talk or work on a creative project, this trine supports emotional intelligence and optimistic thinking. It's a gentle reminder that even during transformational times, there's grace and expansion available.

Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (Tuesday, Feb 17, 7:00am EST, 28° Aquarius)

Tuesday morning brings a powerful Solar Eclipse at the very end of Aquarius - 28°, the second-to-last degree of the sign. This isn't just any new beginning; this is a completion and a transition. We're wrapping up a cycle that's been building through Aquarius season, releasing what no longer serves around themes of community, innovation, independence, and how we show up in the collective.

Eclipses are cosmic wild cards - they bring unexpected shifts, fated moments, and revelations that change our path. At 28° Aquarius, this eclipse asks: What needs to end so something new can begin? What have you learned about your place in community, your relationship to progress and change, your authentic expression within groups? As we prepare to move into Pisces energy (the Sun enters Pisces shortly after this eclipse), we're being asked to release the detached, intellectual approach and prepare to dive into feeling, intuition, and spiritual connection.

This eclipse will ripple out over the next six months. Pay attention to what's completing, what's being revealed, and what unexpected doors open as old ones close. This is a threshold moment.

Sun Enters Pisces (Thursday, Feb 19)

On Thursday, Pisces season officially begins! We're moving from intellectual distance to lean into connection with our spiritual selves. From thinking our way through things to feeling through them. Pisces energy allows us to take all the work we've done as a community and apply it with compassion. It's also open to the world in ways that can be overwhelming. Pisces feels so deeply, and not only its own feelings but everyone else's too. We are all connected, and this time will be best for working with that energy rather than fighting against it.

Saturn Conjunct Neptune EXACT (Thursday, Feb 19, 0° Aries)

And here we are - the moment we've been building toward since late December. Saturn and Neptune meet exactly at 0° Aries on Thursday, marking one of the most significant astrological events of the year, possibly the decade. This is a generational conjunction that only happens every 36 years, and it's occurring at the absolute beginning of the zodiac - the spark point of all new cycles.

Saturn asks: What must be built? What structure is needed? What discipline and commitment are required? Neptune asks: What's the dream? What's the vision? What spiritual inspiration is guiding us? At 0° Aries, both questions demand pioneering action… not someday, but now. This is about making dreams real through courageous, disciplined effort. It's about taking the first step toward something you've been envisioning, even if the full path isn't clear yet.

This won't feel easy. Saturn doesn't do easy; it builds through effort and time. Neptune can be confusing, showing us visions without clear instructions. Together at 0° Aries, they're asking us to act anyway. To pioneer. To begin something new even without guarantees. To balance faith with responsibility, vision with realism, inspiration with discipline.

Pay attention this week to what wants to be born. What new chapter is asking to begin? What dream is demanding you take it seriously and do the work? The energy of this conjunction will stay with us through mid-March, but Thursday is the peak. Trust what's emerging, even if it's uncomfortable or unclear. This is threshold energy. You're standing at the beginning of something significant.

Venus Trine Jupiter (Feb 19-24, exact Feb 22)

After such an intense week, we get some cosmic grace. Venus in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer form a beautiful trine - two water signs flowing together in harmony. This is one of the most pleasant transits in astrology, bringing abundance, love, creativity, and emotional connection.

Venus in Pisces is unconditional, compassionate, romantic love. Jupiter in Cancer is emotional wisdom, nurturing, and generous care. Together they create space for deep connection, creative inspiration, and genuine joy. This is excellent energy for important conversations about relationships, spending quality time with people you love, creating art or beauty, and practicing kindness - both toward others and yourself.

If the intensity of Saturn-Neptune and the eclipse has felt heavy, let this trine be your soft landing. There's grace available. Allow yourself to receive it, to connect, to create, to love without walls. This energy carries us through the weekend and into early next week, offering sweetness even as we continue processing all the transformation happening around us.

What is a Void of Course Moon?

Think of the Moon as the cosmic "Project Manager" of our daily lives. As it travels through a zodiac sign, it "talks" to other planets (making aspects). The Void of Course period begins the moment the Moon finishes its last conversation in one sign and lasts until it enters the next sign.

It’s a time when the "weaver has dropped her thread." Because the Moon isn't making any new connections, the energy is "adrift."

What to do:

  • Rest and Routine: Perfect for chores, cleaning, or mindless admin.

  • Reflection: Excellent for journaling or meditating.

  • Finish what’s started: Wrap up old projects rather than launching new ones.

What to avoid (if possible):

  • Big Launches: If you start a business or launch a product now, it may "go nowhere."

  • Important Signatures: Contracts signed in the void often need to be revised later.

  • First Dates: The "vibe" might be hard to pin down.

Void of Course Times: Feb 16 – Feb 22, 2026

Feb 16th - 4:01 am until it enters Pisces at 6:09 am

Feb 19th - 7:23 am until it enters Aries at 11:39 am

Feb 21st - 3:11 am until it enters Taurus at 3:31 pm

Closing Reflection

This week asks a lot of us. We're standing at a threshold - wrapping up old cycles with the eclipse, pioneering entirely new territory with Saturn and Neptune at 0° Aries, and being asked to feel our way forward as the Sun moves into Pisces. That's enormous transformation packed into just a few days.

If it feels overwhelming, that's understandable. You're being asked to dream and be realistic at the same time. To take courageous action without knowing the full path. To release what's completing while birthing something new. To balance faith with discipline, vision with practicality, feeling with structure.

The good news is that Venus and Jupiter are offering grace through the weekend - moments of sweetness, connection, and beauty amidst all the intensity. Let yourself receive that. Rest when you need to. Feel what needs to be felt. And when you're ready, take one small, intentional step toward whatever new beginning is calling you.

This isn't work that happens overnight. Saturn-Neptune will be with us through mid-March. The eclipse effects ripple out for six months. You have time. What's being asked of you right now is simply to notice what's shifting, to stay present with the discomfort and the possibility, and to trust that the ground beneath your feet is reforming into something more aligned - even if it doesn't feel solid yet.

You're pioneering. That's what 0° Aries energy does. And pioneers don't have maps - they make them as they go.

Tarot Card of the Week

The Star

"I trust the path unfolding before me, even when I cannot see the full journey. Hope guides me forward."

The Star appears this week as a beacon of hope amidst all the intensity and transformation. After the chaos comes clarity. After the breakdown comes renewal. The Star reminds us that even when we can't see the full path ahead, and with Saturn and Neptune at 0° Aries, we definitely can't, there is still light to follow. There is still hope, still healing, still guidance available.

This card asks us to trust our inner vision, to follow the inspiration even when the practical steps aren't clear yet. To believe that what we're pioneering matters, that the dreams asking to be born are worth the effort and uncertainty. The Star doesn't promise it will be easy, but it does promise it's possible. That's what we need this week. Not guarantees, but faith. Not a map, but a guiding light.

Look up. The stars are still there, even when clouds obscure them. Your vision is still valid, even when reality feels overwhelming. Keep going. The path reveals itself as you walk it.
