Neptune Enters Aries – January 26

Let’s start with the major shift that’s been getting the most attention this week: Neptune’s return to Aries. After a brief first pass earlier this year, Neptune is now moving fully back into this sign, where it will remain for the next fourteen years.

You’re likely to hear a lot of comparisons to the last time Neptune was in Aries, particularly references to the period leading up to the Civil War. That era was marked by people fighting fiercely for their ideals and pushing back against illusions that could no longer hold. History doesn’t repeat itself in the same way, but the symbolism often echoes.

This is a long-term cycle focused on new dreams, new visions, and the stories we choose to believe about ourselves and the world around us. There is an invitation here to imagine boldly, but also to stay grounded. Neptune can inspire, but it can just as easily blur the line between truth and illusion. The work of this transit is learning how to dream without losing your footing in reality.

Snow Moon in Leo – February 1

February 1 brings the Snow Moon this year, arriving alongside Imbolc. Full Moons are natural points of culmination and reflection. They ask us to take stock of what is working, and what is ready to be released. With this Moon in Leo, those questions become more personal.

Are we living authentically, or performing in ways that feel expected? Are we honoring our desires, or pushing them aside in favor of approval or comfort?

This lunation pulls the themes of Imbolc into sharper focus. It marks a turning point. A moment to set old patterns down and begin planting new seeds, even if they won’t show results just yet. We are still in the heart of winter, but the energy is starting to shift. The thaw hasn’t arrived, but the movement toward spring has begun, and we are being asked to move with it.

Use this time to release self-doubt and gently rebuild confidence. Turn toward the things that bring you joy. Creative outlets, passions, special interests. Reconnect with what lights you up, and let those sparks help breathe life back into both the world around you and yourself.

Mars Conjunct Pluto – January 27

Mars forms a conjunction with Pluto in Aquarius this week, intensifying the drive toward action and change. Mars provides momentum and urgency, while Pluto brings depth, power, and transformation, often revealing what has been working beneath the surface all along. With this conjunction taking place in Aquarius, the focus shifts toward the collective. Shared systems, social structures, and the values shaping the future come under pressure.

This energy can show up as heightened social tension, strong movements for change, or power struggles between individuals. It highlights where pressure has been building and where action can no longer be avoided. The challenge here is not whether energy moves, but how it is directed.

Pluto has the capacity for deep rebuilding, but when handled without care it can just as easily tip into destruction. This is a moment that benefits from conscious intention. Rather than reacting, there is an opportunity to choose actions that align with your deeper values, especially in areas where change has been postponed or resisted.

Mercury Conjunct Venus – January 29

As the month draws to a close, Mercury meets Venus, bringing a softer shift after weeks of emotional intensity and pressure. Where earlier transits asked for confrontation, release, or decisive movement, this conjunction turns our attention toward understanding and communication.

Mercury and Venus together help us find language for things that may have felt difficult to express before. Conversations that stalled may begin to move again. Feelings that sat just under the surface can now be spoken with more care and thoughtfulness. This is a moment where reflection begins to turn into articulation.

This energy supports honest communication that values connection over control. It is a supportive time to revisit important conversations, express affection, or reconnect with creative ideas and desires that feel aligned with both heart and mind. After a period of pressure and transformation, this conjunction offers space to soften, integrate, and make meaning through connection.

Closing Reflection

Taken together, these transits describe a period of adjustment rather than immediate resolution. Long-term visions are shifting, deeper pressures are coming into focus, and clarity is being built slowly through reflection and conversation. There is no rush to have everything figured out all at once.

This is a time to pay attention to what feels meaningful, where your energy is being called, and how your actions align with the values you’re discovering or reclaiming. Progress right now doesn’t need to be dramatic to be real. Small, intentional choices matter, especially when they are made with awareness.

As the weeks ahead unfold, allow space for both imagination and discernment. Let inspiration move you forward, but stay rooted in what is solid and true for you. The path will continue to reveal itself in time.
